Tokuyama, OCI plan to build 10,000 MT polysilicon factory in Malaysia

Japanese company Tokuyama Corporation and South Korea-based OCI have signed an MOU for constructing a 10,000 MT polysilicon factory in Malaysia to meet the growing demand in the semiconductor market. OCI's Malaysian unit operates a 35,000 MT polysilicon factory in Sarawak. This partnership aims to expand their semiconductor-grade polycrystalline silicon production using clean energy.
