TrendForce says 210 mm module shipments surpassed 260 GW in Q1

The cumulative shipments of 210 mm PV modules exceeded 260 GW in the first quarter of this year, according to TrendForce. The market is shifting towards 210 mm n-type modules with companies like Trina Solar, Risen Energy, Tongwei, and Huasun mass producing panels above 700 W. TrendForce projects a significant increase in 210 mm module production capacity by 2024. The industry is focusing on n-type technology, large-format wafers, and thin wafers, with 210 mm emerging as the new standard.
