Trina completes company’s first US utility-scale BESS projects in Massachusetts

Trina Storage, the energy storage arm of Trina Solar, completed a portfolio of battery projects in Massachusetts for developer Lightshift Energy. The projects are in commercial operation and include systems in the communities of Groton, Holden, and Paxton. These projects will help in peak shaving, frequency regulation, and black start as well as providing islanding off-grid capability.
