Two Chinese firms to invest 2.7 bln euro in Serbia’s energy sector

Serbia's government signed agreements with two Chinese companies for investments totaling 2.7 billion euros in the energy sector. China Energy International Group will build a plant in Smederevo for processing oil and oil derivatives, while Hunan Rich Photovoltaic Science and Technology will invest in a solar panel factory in Paracin and a solar photovoltaic power plant.
