U.S. authorities unveil plan to develop solar on 31 million acres

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announced the proposed updated Western Solar Plan to expand solar projects on public lands in the Western United States. The plan aims to achieve a 100% clean electricity grid by 2035 and support responsible permitting for solar energy projects. The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) commended the plan for balancing conservation and clean energy deployment goals.
