Torus has signed a deal with Gardner Group for a large commercial energy storage project in Utah, involving 26 MWh of systems with intelligent energy management and integration with renewable energy sources. The project will utilize Torus' proprietary software platform and participate in Rocky Mountain Power's Wattsmart Battery program for grid resilience. The installation is set to start in Q4 of this year and aims to be completed by early 2026, providing energy storage capacity equivalent to powering nearly 1,000 homes for a day.
