U.S. DOE allocates $325 million for community solar, battery storage in Puerto Rico

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced a $325 million funding opportunity to enhance community-level energy resilience in Puerto Rico through solar and battery installations. The Programa de Comunidades Resilientes aims to support community healthcare facilities, centers, and housing properties. Applications are due on October 22, 2024, at 5:00 PM EST.
