U.S. solar car race success for two Canadian teams

Student solar car teams from Polytechnique Montréal and École de technologie supérieure achieved success at the Electrek American Solar Challenge 2024. The Polytechnique Montréal team won first place in the multiple occupant vehicle (MOV) category with their Esteban 11 vehicle. On the other hand, the team from École de technologie supérieure secured the silver medal in the single occupant vehicle (SOV) category with their Éclipse XI car. The competition also saw the University of Michigan team clinching victory in the SOV class with their Astrum solar car.
