Monalee, a U.S.-based software company, has developed a web-based platform for investing in residential rooftop PV and related home energy systems. They utilize GIS data and drone imagery to eliminate the need for site visits. The company partners with earth imaging specialists for wider coverage. Monalee offers services in 24 states and plans to expand to 35 states with a total venture capital funding of $10 million.
