UK to set up Global Clean Power Alliance

The UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy has announced plans to form a Global Clean Power Alliance to accelerate the energy transition. The alliance aims to focus on scaling up global investment, diversifying the production of critical minerals, expanding grids and storage, and increasing deployment of innovative clean energy technologies. The goal is to make net zero power a reality everywhere by overcoming barriers in both developing and developed countries.
