Ukraine doubles electricity imports, also from Romania

Ukraine intends to double electricity imports due to a strong Russian attack on its energy system. Imports will increase to 16,699 MWh. Emergency electricity supply from Poland, Romania, and Slovakia has been carried out. Industrial consumption will be limited due to electricity shortage. Ukraine, previously a net energy exporter, now imports electricity after attacks on its power system.
