Unite calls off Siemens Gamesa Hull strike

A pay dispute involving around 300 Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy wind turbine workers in Hull has been resolved after Unite secured a deal. The workers voted to accept a two-year pay deal without the need for industrial action. The strike threat was due to wage issues and suppression of wages through a bonus scheme. The deal will allow the focus to continue on the UK's energy transition.
