Uruguay attracts 11 bidders vying to build 25 MW PV plant in Punta del Tigre

Uruguay launched an international call for bids for the construction of a 25 MW PV park in Punta del Tigre, San José. The bidders include Uruguayan, Spanish, and Chinese firms. UTE will review the bids and award the contract. Plans also include a 75 MW PV park in Cerro Largo. UTE aims to complete the photovoltaic infrastructure by 2027.
