US companies have announced over 100,000 jobs in clean energy manufacturing since the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) took effect in August 2023. The solar sector has seen significant growth, with 25,157 new jobs created, second only to electric vehicles (EVs). Investments in solar manufacturing have been a focus, with several new projects and plants announced, attracting billions of dollars in investment.
