US DOE seeks feedback on energy storage safety training, manufacturing challenges

The US Department of Energy (DOE) has issued Requests for Information (RFIs) on safety training for energy storage systems, and how to tackle manufacturing design challenges. The government aims to establish training for first responders, law enforcement, authorities, and other stakeholders involved in energy storage technologies. It also seeks to understand the obstacles to mass production of energy storage technologies. The DOE is gathering input on technology design challenges to inform prioritization of solutions for industrial-scale manufacturing of domestic energy storage technologies.
