US firms NextEra and Entergy to deploy 4.5GW of solar and storage projects

NextEra and Entergy have a joint development agreement for a 4.5GW solar and storage project pipeline in the US. Entergy has 14 operating solar projects with 585MW capacity and NextEra has BESS projects in 19 states. Entergy plans to add 2.9GW of new solar capacity by 2028.
