US installs 993MW of grid storage in Q1 2024

The US grid-scale energy storage market in the first quarter of 2024 set a record with 993MW deployed. Nevada, California, and Texas accounted for 90% of new grid-scale capacity added. Texas is expected to overtake California in terms of new capacity installed this year. The industry is set to celebrate its first double-digit installation year with the tight race between California and Texas for the top storage state. The US energy storage market is projected to see significant growth in 2024 and beyond.
