An international research team has proposed a new PV module recycling process using deep eutectic solvents (DESs) to separate ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) from end-of-life solar panels. The research aims to recover valuable metals from the modules by avoiding the release of hazardous elements through conventional methods.
