Van Oord launches installation vessel

Van Oord’s new offshore installation vessel Boreas, equipped to run on methanol for reduced emissions, was successfully launched at Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore shipyard in China. Boreas is designed for transporting and installing next-generation foundations and turbines at offshore wind farms. The vessel's completion is expected in 2025, with advanced features for sustainable operations.
