Vard signs Taiwanese CSOV deal

Vard has signed a contract with an undisclosed Taiwanese customer to design and construct two Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOV) - Vard 4 39 design. The vessels are versatile for sustainable wind farm support operations and future integration of power and fibre optic cable lay and repair. They focus on environmental footprint, high station keeping capabilities, and operational reliability, including a full electrical equipment package and preparation for future fuels. The vessels have an aggregated hotel capacity of 120 persons, with the first delivery in fourth quarter 2026 and the second in first quarter 2027.
