Vena Energy inks solar PPA in Japan with Mitsubishi unit

Singapore’s Vena Energy and Japan's Mitsubishi Corporation Clean Energy Ltd have entered into a corporate power purchase agreement for the output of a 31.65-MW photovoltaic plant in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture. The Maibara Solar Project is expected to produce enough clean energy for 8,560 households annually, offsetting 18,600 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions and saving 31 million liters of water per year. Vena Energy aims to support corporate decarbonisation through active engagement in the corporate PPA market.
