Vesper Energy sells 50-MW solar-plus-storage project in California

Vesper Energy has sold the Deer Creek solar and storage site in Tulare County, California to a leading Fortune 500 energy company. The project had a potential for up to 50 MWac of solar and up to 50 MW of energy storage capacity. The company signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with California power firm Desert Community Energy for the electricity generated by the plant. Construction delays were reported by The Porterville Recorder in August 2023.
