Vestas discloses 1-GW-plus offshore opportunity, gets Korean order

Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems A/S revealed its potential participation as a turbine supplier in a 1-GW-plus offshore wind project in Northern Europe. In South Korea, Vestas received a 90-MW order for an onshore project to supply and supervise the installation of 21 units of V136-4.2 MW wind turbines. The company has signed a conditional agreement for the offshore project and expects to start turbine deliveries in the second quarter of next year.
