Vestas receives 155MW New Zealand order

Vestas received a 155MW order for the second stage of Mercury Energy’s Kaiwera Downs wind farm in New Zealand. The project includes the supply and installation of 36 V136-4.2 MW turbines, with a 30-year service contract. Upon completion, the wind farm will accelerate New Zealand’s decarbonisation ambitions and become the country's second largest wind farm. It is expected to create approximately 150 jobs during construction.
