Vestas seals 72MW turbine order

Vestas received a 72MW turbine order from Denker & Wulf AG for the Holtsee wind project in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The Danish manufacturer will deliver 10 V162-7.2MW machines. The order includes supply, delivery, and commissioning of the hardware. Vestas vice president sales, Sulai Fahimi mentioned the efficient technology of their EnVentus platform. Denker & Wulf AG chief executive, Torsten Levsen, emphasized the need for new efficient technologies in the wind energy market.
