Vestas swoops on 134MW Japanese order

Vestas has secured a 134MW order from Invenergy for the Inaniwa Wind Energy Center project in Iwate prefecture, Japan. The project includes supply, installation of 32 V117-4.2MW turbines, and a 20-year service agreement. Deliveries expected in first half of 2027, with commissioning planned for first quarter of 2028. Vestas looks forward to contributing to Japan's carbon neutrality goal.
