Vineyard Wind and GE begin cutting damaged blade

Vineyard Wind and GE Vernova have begun controlled cutting activities on a damaged turbine blade at the coast of Massachusetts. BSEE issued an updated Suspension Order allowing Vineyard Wind to install towers and nacelles. Vineyard Wind CEO is Klaus S. Møller. BSEE's order was based on an analysis by Det Norske Veritas. The Foss Prevailing Wind barge will transport turbine components to the site.
