Vineyard Wind and GE begin cutting damaged blade

Vineyard Wind and GE Vernova have initiated controlled cutting activities on a damaged turbine blade off the coast of Massachusetts. The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement issued an updated Suspension Order allowing Vineyard Wind to proceed with tower and nacelle installation. The Foss Prevailing Wind barge will transport turbine components to the site.
