Vistra agrees USD 3.25bn buyout of zero-carbon energy unit

Vistra Corp, a US retail electricity and power generation company, is acquiring the remaining 15% stake in its subsidiary that houses zero-carbon nuclear, energy storage, and solar generation assets along with its retail business. The acquisition is valued at USD 3.248 billion and includes assets like Beaver Valley, Comanche Peak, Davis-Besse, and Perry nuclear generation facilities, as well as solar and energy storage sites.
