Wartsila to supply 25-MW BESS to Curacao utility

Finnish technology group Wartsila Corp is supplying a 25-MW/25-MWh battery energy storage system to Curacao. The BESS ordered by Curacao government-owned utility Aqualectra will enhance grid stability and integrate more renewables into the power system by 2025.
