What crops fit with vertical agrivoltaics?

A group of researchers led by the University of Western Ontario in Canada conducted experiments on vertical agrivoltaic systems to explore the potential of growing crops under different spacing configurations. They found that traditional crops such as arugula, beets, lettuce, and peas could be successfully grown in these systems. The study suggested a significant potential increase in renewable energy generation in Canada by employing agrivoltaics.
