WindEurope: Number of wind turbine orders grows 25% in Q2, Romania ordered 30 turbines

The number of wind turbine orders grew significantly in Q2 2024, with a total capacity of 4.9 GW across 13 countries. Romania ordered 30 turbines. Vestas, Nordex, GE, and Goldwind were the leading companies in ordered capacity. Germany had the highest ordered capacity at 1.3 GW, followed by Spain and Lithuania. Onshore orders saw a significant increase, while an offshore park order came from Nordseecluster A of Germany.
