Yanmar, Daigas install small cogeneration gas system with 30% hydrogen blend

Yanmar ES and Daigas Energy demonstrated blending hydrogen into fossil gas in the distribution network and using it in a cogeneration system. The EP400G unit installed at Daigas Energy's test site showed equal performance with a 30% hydrogen share. Both companies aim to commercialize hydrogen-blended cogeneration systems for a carbon-neutral society. Other companies like E.ON Romania and Wien Energie have also tested hydrogen blending in their operations.
