Zambian IPP launches tender for 50 MW of solar

Zambian IPP CGM Power Group has announced a call for expressions of interest to develop a 50 MW on-grid solar plant in Chipili, northern Zambia. The project includes a 5-10 MW battery energy storage system and transmission lines to connect to Mwenda Zesco substation and a solar plant at Luongo Mine.
