450MW solar PV project with 1,800MWh BESS in Victoria, Australia, given green light

Victoria, Australia, has approved the development of the 450MW Hazelwood Solar Farm with a 450MW/1,800MWh battery energy storage system. The project is developed by Manthos Investments and managed by Robert Luxmoore Project Management. It will be located in Gippsland and contribute to the state's renewable energy targets. The site will be repurposed from a forestry plantation to incorporate agrivoltaics.
