95MW solar PV and battery plant fires up at Western Australian lithium mine

Liontown Resources has started powering parts of its Kathleen Valley Lithium Project in Western Australia with a 95MW hybrid emission-free power station. The hybrid power station includes solar, wind turbines, and battery energy storage, making it one of the largest off-grid wind-solar-battery storage renewable energy facilities in the Australian mining industry. The project also involves Australian-based companies like 5B and Zenith Energy for solar equipment and construction respectively.
