ABL joins North Sea noise pollution study

ABL has been appointed by Germany’s Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) to work on a North Sea noise pollution project. The DEMASK Project aims at better understanding the environmental impacts of underwater disturbance from offshore wind and shipping activities. ABL will support the project in assessing noise mitigation strategies and producing vessel data inputs for sound propagation modelling. The project involves stakeholders from various maritime sectors to reduce noise pollution in the German North Sea region and beyond.
