ABO Energy Espana building 50-MWp solar farm in central Spain

ABO Energy Espana SAU, a Spanish subsidiary of German renewables company ABO Wind AG, is constructing its first turnkey 50-MWp solar farm, Valdezorita, in Yebra, Spain. The project began in January 2024 and is set to complete in early 2025. It features collaboration with German bank KfW and DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing for financial backing. Additionally, the project reflects a strategic rebranding and expansion of ABO Wind AG into technologies beyond wind power.
