Actis creates Peruvian IPP seeking 12GW of energy capacity

Renewable energy infrastructure investor Actis has launched a new independent power producer (IPP) company in Peru called Orygen, following the acquisition of Enel Generación Perú. Orygen aims to develop 12GW of energy projects across solar, wind, hydroelectric, and thermal gas assets. The company has appointed Marco Fragale as the CEO and plans to provide sustainable and competitive energy to drive the Peruvian economy.
