The article discusses the potential of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology in balancing the grid by utilizing EV batteries to store excess renewable energy. Researchers propose an adaptive decentralized control scheme to regulate EV contributions to primary frequency control considering owner expectations and operating limits. The scheme evaluates EV capabilities using Charge Capability of Battery (CCoB) and Discharge Capability of Battery (DCoB) indices in real-time, aiming to increase EV owner satisfaction and grid stability.
