The Alhendín solar park in Spain, developed by BayWa r.e., combines renewable energy, agriculture, and biodiversity. VELUX Group purchases electricity via a PPA. The park consists of more than 85,000 solar modules and produces 96.8 GWh of electricity annually. The Solar Plant Symbiosis concept promotes biodiversity and local stakeholder involvement.
