Amarenco acquires Jordanian renewable energy company Spectrum

Amarenco, a producer of green energy, has acquired Spectrum International, a leading Jordanian renewable energy company, and rebranded it to Amarenco Jordan to strengthen its presence in Jordan and the MENA region. Through this acquisition, Amarenco aims to achieve a capacity target of 200 MW and take over Spectrum's current and pipeline projects. The company has developed solar projects in Jordan focusing on commercial and industrial consumers under the build-operate-transfer model. Recently, Amarenco received a €300 million investment from Arjun Infrastructure Partners.
