AMEA Power energises 26.6-MW solar farm in Burkina Faso

AMEA Power, a Dubai-based renewables developer, has completed a 26.6-MW solar farm in the Mouhoun Province in Burkina Faso. The project, located in Zina village, will provide electricity for over 43,000 people and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 13,200 tonnes annually. The financing was secured from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), IFC-Canada Climate Change Program, and Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund.
