Ameren Missouri acquires 150MW PV plant in Illinois

Ameren Missouri plans to add 2.8GW of solar capacity by 2030. They acquired a 150MW solar PV project in Illinois. The Cass County Renewable Energy Center, previously owned by Savion (a subsidiary of Shell), is under construction. Ameren Missouri's Renewable Solutions Program will be expanded by the Cass County project and supported by the Boomtown solar PV project. This follows the approval of Ameren Missouri's plan for 400MW of solar PV capacity. RWE subsidiary began construction on a 150MW PV project in Illinois called the Casey Fork project.
