The city of Amsterdam is allowing the installation of solar panels on monuments and protected buildings to meet modern sustainability targets. The city aims to insulate 123,000 homes by 2030, promote greenery on roofs and facades of monuments, and equip 500,000 homes with PV systems by 2040.
