An innovative one-megawatt solar carport array in Scotland

Aviva, a UK insurer, has completed a 1.07 MW solar carport at their Scottish headquarters in Perth. The carport, built by RenEnergy using Q Cells solar modules, incorporates a 1.8 MWh battery and 50 EV charging stations, allowing Aviva to reduce carbon emissions by 400,000 kg annually. The project was part-funded by the Scottish government and the EU, with Aviva financing the rest.
