Apatura obtains consent for 700-MW battery in Scotland

UK renewables energy firm Apatura Energy granted planning permission for a 700-MW battery energy storage system in Scotland at Port Glasgow, Inverclyde. The Auchentiber project approved by the Scottish Government's Energy Consents Unit. Apatura Energy secures fourth consent within 12 months.
