The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) launched the 'Solar ScaleUp Challenge' with a global AUS$100 million fund to stimulate innovation and collaboration in the solar sector. The initiative aims to break barriers in installing, operating, and maintaining solar PV projects. ARENA's vision includes achieving ultra low-cost solar for a significant reduction in the cost of renewable electricity. The Challenge is open for eight weeks to complement the Solar Sunshot Program and boost Australia's solar innovation and development efforts.
