Argentina's Genneia to invest USD-250m in new solar at home

Argentine power company Genneia announced an investment of USD 250 million for building two solar farms in Mendoza, Argentina. These projects will increase Genneia's renewables capacity to 1,004 MW and support growth in Argentina’s MATER green energy marketplace. The projects align with the Mendoza government’s energy strategy and mining developments. Genneia will invest USD 90 million in a 93-MW solar farm and USD 16 million in a 180-MW solar farm.
