Ausgrid powers up community battery in New South Wales

Ausgrid installed a community battery energy storage system in North Epping, New South Wales to store excess solar power and support energy security. The battery will feed electricity back into the grid during peak demand periods, enabling more homeowners to use rooftop photovoltaic arrays. The project was implemented under the federal government's Community Batteries for Household Solar Programme.
